Coming from a big family that is mostly all grown up now, I know how hard it is to get everyone in the same place at the same time and be happy about it! This was quite the undertaking for them and a new experience for me, but I think it turned out OK. :)

This is my favorite photo from the shoot. I think she looks so classy and beautiful. There's something about her that reminds me of my own Grandmother and I wish I had a picture like this of her to display in my home.

I spent a lot of time this week learning to make my own grungy/textured backgrounds. So, of course that means I have to practice using them in a picture!
My goal for this Christmas weekend is to get Doug to make me some actual frames. I have a couple of these pictures just sitting here waiting. :)

We just got back from an AWESOME vacation to Disneyland! It was so much fun. Since we were in the general vicinity, I was able to talk my husband and friends into making a detour to the L.A. Temple. This is where my parents were married and I wanted to get a new picture for them. Here is what I have done so far. :)

I am not done editing the photos from this session, but I just HAD to put up a couple teasers!!! This was such a FUN shoot! We tried some different poses and I am super happy with the way they turned out. The hard part will be choosing my favorites!
Isn't she just gorgeous?!? I've done her hair for years and now she works with me at the salon. She is a FANTASTIC nail tech. I just LOVE her!!! :)

Oh my gosh this whole family has the most AMAZING eyes. I'm really quite jealous! This was such a fun shoot. It was cold and windy, but they were such troopers!

This lovely lady is the world's best personal trainer! (I know because she's whipping me into shape!) So, if you are looking for someone to inspire you into shape, let me know 'cuz I can hook you up! :)

Here are the latest pictures I've edited of the San Diego and St. George Temples. I just got the Timpanogos one printed in a 20 x 30 and I LOVE it! Now I just have to make a frame for it. :)

I like the look of these in sepia, but I will be working on some other ones in color.

This shoot was so much fun! I just wish we had a little more time to try some of the other CUTE outfits! It was quite an adventure but this little girl was pretty good about everything. :)

I am still working on the edits for this shoot, but I wanted to post what I have because I really like them. :)

I haven't done much in the way of props, but this was too perfect a scene to pass up! This little girl's name is July, and when I saw the decor in her family's dining room, I just had to use it! I can't decide which one I like best... maybe the last one?

Breanna - Senior Pictures

Last weekend I got to help take my sister-in-law's senior pictures as well as do her hair and makeup! It was so much fun! It was an overcast day and the lighting was gorgeous. About halfway through the shoot it started raining on us! Luckily there was tunnel close by we were able to finish the rest of the shoot in. Those pictures turned out to be my FAVORITE! (the ones in pink and black).

This little boy has AMAZING eyes. Believe it or not, I didn't do a THING to them. They are just like glass!

My sister had me take pictures for her family for Christmas. We set up shop in my mom's house and they turned out pretty good! My niece has the most beautiful eyes and when she's being cooperative she photographs wonderfully! So, the big question: Color or Black and White?

These are handmade clips you can attach to a headband, beanie or wear alone. They are perfect for girls of any age! :) The smaller clips have a glittered brad for the center and the larger clips have rhinestones. The metal alligator clip is partially lined for a finished look.

It's official... I'm addicted to my new hobby! I needed some new material so I asked my sister to let me take some pictures of her family. She said yes. So, here are some photos I took and then edited. Trying to get the kids to smile at the same time was a challenge, but we got some. :)

There's so much to learn, but I've gotten some of the basics down which makes the process go faster. It's kinda fun playing with the colors. Some of these pictures are a little bright, but I'm still experimenting. Trying to not wash out the skin tone has been the most difficult... but I think I'm getting it...

A Little Bit of Faith :)

So, can I just tell you how adorable my little niece is? My sister asked me to bring my camera out to my parents last night so we could take pictures of her. Faith will be turning one in August, so these are her one year old pictures. I'm pretty proud of myself, I think they turned out really good! (but then, when you take over 500 pictures, at least one is bound to be good. :) )

I think my favorite one is her grumpy face. So CUTE!!!
